Aerial Photography

My son, Geoff now has his private pilot's license and was visiting me for a couple of weeks in January. Of course I had to rent an airplane and take a few trips with him and of course I took my camera. The first day was really windy and bumpy so it was very difficult to get any good shots. The second day was clear and less bumpy and of course the third day was very smooth, but more hazy. So, I wasn't able to get as many pictures as I was hoping for, but did manage a few decent ones. You can see the results in the Aerial Photography gallery.

Another photographer named Campbell

My son is also a professional photographer, and I like to say that he is a chip off the old block, but actually he has gone way beyond what I have done to create a very impressive body of work. He is a Combat Photographer for the US Marine Corps and is currently stationed in Hawaii. He completed one tour of duty in Iraq and returned safely with some really great photos. I must say that he makes me proud. You can see some of his work on his web site: campbellgt.peachrock.com

Photography Services

We provide a wide variety of photography services with an eye toward creativity resulting in images that are works of art; not just another holiday snap. While we can provide event, product, and architectural photography, we specialize in creative and artistic portraits that capture the essence of personality and beauty. The best portraits are ones that reflect the personality and passions of the models. Our process is to spend enough time with you to understand your goals and desired results, then develop an approach including locations, props, and wardrobe that will result in portraits that you will be proud to show.

Our prices are based upon three elements: production (sitting fee), post production (editing, touch-up, etc.), and final product (prints, CDs, web images, etc). We provide discounts for active military personnel.  Because each photograph is unique and customized, please contact us for price quote.

Body Art Photography

I recently did a photo shoot of some very elaborate tattoos for a friend. She had a very specific look in mind which resulted in a panoramic style look of herReclining Body Art Photo reclining with a totally black background. We ended up printing both color and black and white versions of the print in a 10 x 20 inch format which she had framed. With large tattoos like this, the biggest challenge is determining the best angle and lighting to show as much of the tattoo as possible while still being aesthetically pleasing. We experimented with many different positions, but ultimately lying on her side proved to be the best. I used a couple of soft florescent lights on either side and a hard warmer back light to provide the hair highlights.
