Veggie Toolkit Release Notes - Version 2.0j

Fixes/Changes

  1. TimeBandit - fixed bug when slicing multiple video events

Known Issues

  • MultiRender: If you attempt to open a Vegas project from a later version of Vegas in an earlier version (e.g. using Vegas 5 attempt to open a Vegas 6 project), the project will not open, but no error will be displayed. This is due to the fact that MultiRender suppresses Vegas prompts in order to prevent these from stopping the render queue.
  • Due to the way that Vegas loads assemblies, it will not be possible to run both the Veggie Toolkit 1.0 and 2.0 tools in the same Vegas session. It is recommended that you uninstall the 1.0 version after installing the 2.0 version. If you need to run a 1.0 tool and you have run a 2.0 tool, exit and restart Vegas prior to running the 1.0 tool.

Vegas 6 Issues

  1. If you are rendering to custom AC3 templates using Vegas 6.0a build 99, you MUST first render to a built-in template after starting Vegas. After you have rendered to a built-in template, then renders to a custom template will work. If you do not first render to a built-in template, the render will fail and any further AC3 renders will hang. If this happens you will need to restart Vegas. This problem has been fixed in 6.0b and later releases.
